About the Role

The registered nurse provides services in an acute care, ambulatory, behavioral health, or long-term care setting. The nurse performs an assessment based on the patient's diagnosis, reason for entry into the system, and care needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements individualized patient care plans
  • Provides direct patient care to patients with acute, chronic, and/or terminal illnesses
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Participates in program evaluations, research, education, and the supervision of students
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BCLS
  • For a PRN position, a minimum of one year's medical/surgical experience or a minimum of one year of prior experience in the specialty area for which the candidate is applying
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or its equivalent in a specific specialty
  • RN Specialty Certification
