Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Safety Trainer Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of MANDT training for Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

About the Role:

This is a leadership position that requires the ability to develop cooperative working relationships with others, provide administrative assistance with department audits, special projects, open enrollment, and data entry. The incumbent will maintain certification as a MANDT Trainer and have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Overses and coordinates all aspects of MANDT training for Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities
  • Coordinates Agency and Provider Community Training Schedule; Schedules locations, dates and times for the Board's MANDT training program
  • Maintains an updated list of trainers and staff trained in MANDT
  • Ensures the completion of or completes all required paperwork including certificates, notifications to MANDT corporate offices, trainees and the SCBDD
  • Provides a variety of support services to the HR department during employee onboarding
  • Serves on the Administrative Safety Committee and Human Rights Committee (HRC)
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field and/or equivalent amount of job experience working with student and/or adult behaviors
  • Certification as a MANDT trainer required or willingness and ability to obtain
  • Knowledge of teaching and instruction for individuals and groups
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
What We Offer:

The salary for this position is estimated at $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include OPERS, health, life, dental, and flexible spending programs, voluntary benefits, sick time, holiday pay, vacation, and personal days.
