  • Must obtain food safety certification.
  • Demonstrated basic math and counting skills.
  • Experience in food service management, ideally in a correctional setting.
  • Understanding of nutrition, dietary guidelines, and food safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Working Environment:

The work environment is situated within a correctional facility, necessitating adherence to strict security protocols. Flexibility in hours may be required to oversee meal preparation and ensure operational efficiency. Physical ability to stand, lift, and move food supplies and equipment is essential.
