Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design project teams in creating world-class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design project teams to create high-quality designs for various projects, including airports, commercial, government, military, and ports facilities.
  • Develop and implement electrical design plans, adapting to budget constraints, design factors, or client needs.
  • Prepare electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
  • Review electrical equipment vendor drawings, interface with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in project schedule, scope, budget, staffing planning, and construction planning.
  • Manage change orders effectively and apply expert knowledge of electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures.
  • Lead field inspections, installation, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients.
  • Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, customers, and contractors, and develop new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 7 years of electrical engineering experience, with 10-12 years of experience in consulting preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred, with Telecom/Electronic Security Systems (RCDD) background preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures, strong knowledge of electrical equipment design ANSI and IEEE Standards.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, lighting calculation software, and generator sizing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.
