Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at OmniOn Power. As a key member of our electrical infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical frameworks, detecting and correcting faults in existing systems, and working with customers to determine issues warranting attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of electrical frameworks
  • Detection and correction of faults in existing electrical systems
  • Collaboration with customers to identify and resolve issues
  • Performance of inspections and assessments to determine necessary work
  • Installation and restoration of electrical frameworks
  • Communication with customers and team members to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship
  • Valid state license permitting practice as a journeyman electrician
  • Four years of experience as a journeyman electrician
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a valid driver's license
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook/Excel/Word
  • Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time with overnight stays
  • Ability and willingness to obtain Electrical Contractor Qualifier Licenses or reciprocity in multiple states as required for OmniOn Power

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Prior field engineering experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in telecommunications, data center, or other critical power facilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Using a lifting technique to maneuver, install, or remove lb. batteries
  • Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.
  • Frequently working/standing on ladders for extended periods
  • Continuous standing
  • Frequently reaching above, below, or at shoulder level
  • Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping
  • Frequently crouching or squatting
  • Will be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold
