About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II-CHA to join our team at Novant Health. As a Medical Assistant II-CHA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams and minor office procedures
  • Record patient information, including medical history and test results
  • Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
  • Perform routine EKGs and document results
  • Collect and process lab specimens
  • Provide patient education on office policies, medications, and disease management
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of previous medical/physician office experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
