Soliant Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a Certified School Nurse position in the Chicago area. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct health services to students, including assessment, intervention, and referral for health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) to ensure students receive the necessary care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation.
- Promote a healthy school environment through education and prevention programs.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to student health.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement.
- Experience working as a school nurse is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR certification is preferred.
