Job Summary:

The Senior Construction Manager will oversee multiple job sites, providing leadership and guidance to Superintendents. This role requires strong project management skills, with the ability to analyze and address daily progress reports. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction and be proficient in Microsoft computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate with Superintendents to ensure project schedules are met.
Inspect job sites and confirm that work meets quality and safety standards.
Analyze and address daily progress reports for work performed and completed by Superintendents.
Maintain and enforce safety regulations and building code requirements.
Coordinate weekly safety meeting topics for Superintendents with in-house trade staff and subcontractors.

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of heavy civil construction experience.
Minimum 15 years of federal contractor experience.
Experience in varied heavy civil types of projects.
Specialized knowledge in heavy equipment utilization and application.
Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
30 hr OSHA certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications.
High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Strong client communication skills.
Ability to teach processes required by a Project Superintendent.

Working Conditions:

Field conditions prevail, with some work performed in office trailers or home offices, and the remainder performed outdoors or at project locations.
