About the Role

Abile Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex IT systems that support our Intelligence Community customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the completion of specific engineering programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems, leveraging your expertise in systems design, development, and integration.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Perform complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to inform engineering decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Serve as a team or task lead, demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills.
Requirements
  • TS/SCI clearance required, with eligibility to obtain a CI poly.
  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • 8+ years of related systems engineering experience.
  • Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire.
  • Linux system administrator, scripting/coding (Bash, Python, etc.), Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm charts, and automation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in one of the following areas: operational support, virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng), Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies, infrastructure as code (IaC), Ceph storage platform, or GitLab.
