The Senior Electrical Engineer is a key member of our team at Baffa Solutions, responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop industrial electrical systems, including motor control centers and variable frequency drives.
  • Provide programming support for electrical systems, including HMI, PLC, and DCS programs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, estimate costs, and prepare project documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering groups to design systems for projects.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders on project progress and issues.
  • Perform problem-solving and repair of electrical systems in the field.
  • Monitor, modify, and update existing electrical systems and programming.
  • Travel to provide on-site support during project start-up and follow-up phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • PE license or FE certification, with 10-15 years of experience in industrial controls and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation software packages.
  • Ability to lead electrical projects and be responsible for completing tasks on time, on budget, and within quality expectations.
  • Knowledge of Arc-Flash/Arc-Blast safety training, PLC and DCS programming systems, and HMI design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to clients in common language.
