**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Firewatch and Labor Support professional to join our team at LaborOne Staffing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe for sparks and flames during welding and assist trades as a laborer to clean up on-board ships, in drydocks, and piers.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED with prior experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and write in English and understand verbal instructions required.
  • Requires observation skills, ability to respond quickly, housekeeping skills, good judgment, and ongoing safety awareness.
  • Must be able to access and move around the ship safely, and work at heights, and in confined areas with limited visibility.
  • Must be clean-shaven for respirator fit.

Working Conditions:

Exposed to wind, heat, constant wet and humid conditions, and vibrations; works near constantly moving machinery, mechanical parts, and traffic from other trades.
