Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking two (2) Psychiatrists to join the Emergency Room team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center with a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and evidence-based direct care to patients in PES (Psychiatric Emergency Services)
  • Supervise residents, students, social workers, nurses, and other team members involved in clinical care
  • Conduct morning and evening rounds, providing clinical teaching and oversight of patient flow issues
  • Manage inter-disciplinary team issues affecting clinical care
  • Document incidents in conjunction with nursing
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified Attending Psychiatrist
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry
  • License to practice medicine in the State of New York
