About the Role

This is a permanent position responsible for performing maintenance activities to keep our package handling facilities operating efficiently and effectively. As a BaSE Mechanic, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with other hub employees, and troubleshooting, adjusting, and replacing electrical and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components, including AC and DC electrical equipment, motors, reducers, drive chains, and conveyor belts.
  • Inspect and repair pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, including hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
  • Perform welding tasks, including handrails, conveyor supports, and package handling equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment, including conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting pay of $38.02 per hour, with the potential to reach a top pay of $40.37 after two years. You will also be eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, a 401(K) plan, a defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision benefits, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time, paid holidays, and a discounted employee stock purchase program.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a U.S. Citizen or National, an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer. You must also have a strong electrical background and be able to pass an electrical assessment.
