Clinical Liaison Job Description

ClearSky Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in evaluating patients and determining if they meet admissions criteria. You will be responsible for preparing development plans, conducting calls, and presenting to potential referral sources.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct thorough pre-admission patient evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain assigned sales territory and develop, implement, evaluate, and refine territory sales plans based on data, trends, market needs, and facility needs.
  • Coordinate marketing and public relations activities, such as conferences, exhibits, seminars, advertising, media relations, government relations, etc.
  • Effectively track sales activity, maintain client profiles, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in program development initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, assessing risks and implementing appropriate precautions.
  • Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3 years of healthcare experience required, with healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Clinical licensure required (RN, RT, LVN, PT, OT, SLP preferred).
  • Valid, acceptable driving record, current driver's license, and insurability required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates understanding of patient mix, regulatory requirements, reimbursement, etc.
  • Demonstrates high degree of customer service and professionalism.
  • General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection prevention standards.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others at all levels of the organization.
Physical Requirements:
  • Significant amount of standing, sitting, and driving, often for prolonged periods.
  • Lifting/exerting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Ability to hear overhead pages.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
