Job Description
This role involves providing essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities, enhancing their quality of life through personalized care and attention. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, monitoring patients' health by observing and reporting changes in their condition, providing companionship and emotional support, implementing care plans tailored to each client's specific requirements, maintaining a clean and safe living environment, engaging clients in social activities, and administering CPR and first aid when necessary.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field, knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and home community care practices, bi-lingual skills, a driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification, and familiarity with memory care strategies and dementia care. You should also be able to develop and follow individualized care plans effectively, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate compassion, patience, and reliability in all interactions with clients.
