Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of healthcare professionals based out of Lewiston, ME. As a Home Health PTA, you will work with patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to an illness or injury.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized home-based physical therapy to patients with a focus on regaining strength and managing pain
- Work collaboratively as part of a home health team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and modify care plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on established goals, exercises, and self-care techniques
- Active PTA license in Maine
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience, ideally in home healthcare
- CPR certification
- Up-to-date on all State of Maine required vaccinations
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
- Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion

Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plan.
