Job Summary:

EvergreenHealth is seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and well-established team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and advocating for the needs of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Coordinate Patient Education: Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate patient information, safety concerns, and quality issues to immediate supervisors and other relevant team members.
  • Perform Other Duties: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, maintain accurate records, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment.
  • License and Certification: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington, Current Emergency Nursing patient care experience, Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification, Current American Heart Association ACLS Provider certification, PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire, TNCC within a year of hire.
  • Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing, Two years' experience in Emergency/Trauma, Certification in emergency nursing is preferred.
