Position Overview:

The Leasing Specialist acts as the primary sales representative for the community, engaging with both prospective and current residents on behalf of FPI Management, Inc. This role is essential in facilitating property tours, delivering accurate information regarding available apartment homes, processing rental applications, securing lease agreements from qualified individuals, and assisting with lease renewals as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Uphold the philosophies and objectives of the property owner in daily operations to ensure FPI meets client expectations.
  • Effective Communication: Foster positive and professional interactions with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
  • Leasing and Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels in alignment with owner and budget expectations, employing professional leasing techniques. Assist in the completion of monthly market surveys and analyses, and contribute to advertising and marketing strategies as needed.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate resident files, ensuring integrity and confidentiality in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures. Responsible for keeping documents and reporting systems organized and updated.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with risk management protocols by adhering to FPI Standard Operating Procedures. Report any injuries, illnesses, or property damage promptly through the appropriate channels.
  • Facility Maintenance: Assist residents in reporting maintenance issues, document facility needs, and ensure timely resolution while monitoring the physical asset.
  • Additional Duties: Enforce community rules and regulations consistently, comply with Fair Housing Laws, and maintain a professional image by adhering to the dress code policy.

All responsibilities must be executed with professionalism and a commitment to meeting training requirements for the position. This role plays a vital part in promoting a positive living environment for all residents.
