We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team as an Associate or Full Professor in the non-tenure academic clinician track. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical anesthesia services, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participating in departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical anesthesia services to patients at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating rooms and wards
- Participate in departmental activities, including lectures, small groups, workshops, and simulation sessions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and educational programs
- MD or MD/Ph.D. degree or equivalent
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system
- Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license
- Strong clinical and teaching skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in general and/or cardiovascular anesthesia
- Expertise in critical care, neurocritical care, obstetrical, regional, or pain management
- Mid-career applicants encouraged to apply
