Job Title: Director, Supply Chain

The Director, Supply Chain is a critical role within Mission Critical Group, responsible for driving the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy to maximize process efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies in partnership with MCG leadership.
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
  • Manage third-party manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment with business goals, quality standards, and timeline expectations.
  • Champion a data-driven supply chain strategy that aligns with business objectives and optimizes manufacturing processes.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to inform strategic decision-making, identify bottlenecks, and implement process enhancements.
  • Analyze customer outputs against key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas of improvement, and work collaboratively to address issues.
  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, with operating companies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing external manufacturers and large-scale operations.
  • Vast knowledge of industry-specific supply chain best practices and standards, logistics, and inventory management.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with supply chain system software tools.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under pressure in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Possess extensive data analysis skills.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Make decisions quickly and efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • FLSA executive and professional positions paid on a salary basis, where project requirements and tight client deadlines may require workweeks over forty (40) hours (including weekends or holidays).
  • This role will require travel to MCG company sites and to meet with external supply partners.
  • This role will work in an office setting, however frequent visits to the production floor are required to oversee operations, ensure compliance and safety standards, and engage with staff.
  • Mobility: Ability to move around the manufacturing plant, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
  • Manual Dexterity: Occasional use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items up to twenty-five (25) pounds. All lifting should be done following OSHA standards.
