YOUR ROLE
In this advanced-level role, you will leverage your technical skills and equipment knowledge to perform maintenance and repairs on assigned wind turbines with minimal supervision.
You will adapt procedures and plans, take decisive actions based on general guidance, and successfully develop and implement well-structured action plans.
As a Senior Technician, you will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.Your daily tasks may involve working at heights of 250 feet or in confined spaces to conduct maintenance and repairs.
Expect to work outdoors, sometimes in challenging weather conditions, while climbing, carrying tools, and moving components to complete your tasks.Teamwork is essential, and our reputation for professionalism, safety, and meticulous attention to detail is paramount to our clients.
We encourage suggestions to enhance the safety and quality of our operations.QUALIFICATIONS
✓ A three-year technical associate degree or equivalent, along with at least one year of technical experience in wind energy.
✓ A valid Driver's License and the ability to obtain a passport.
✓ Capability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
✓ Experience with complex power tools, hydraulic systems, and diagnostic equipment.
✓ Advanced knowledge of industrial safety practices and protocols, including energy isolation and risk management.
✓ Basic computer skills, familiarity with internet-based programs, and the ability to generate and interpret data.
✓ Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
✓ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to develop procedures and validate work activities.
