AWARE is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a safe and comfortable home environment.
Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members to ensure seamless care and support.
- Implement individual support plans, assessing strengths and skills in daily living to empower residents to live independently.
- Assist adults with developmental disabilities in identifying, developing, and participating in meaningful activities to increase functional independence.
- Administer assessment instruments and assist in the development of training programs for persons with developmental disabilities.
- Assist in training programs that focus on basic living skills, independent living skills, vocational skills, and academic skills.
- Computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and use performance-based software and electronic medical records systems.
- Interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, make observations, and report them accurately.
- High School Diploma or HSE is required, along with past employment experience.
- A valid Montana Driver's License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record.
- An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
