Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians to establish and maintain quality patient care
  • Utilize clinical teamwork to oversee the interdisciplinary plan of care, including assessing patients and families, planning and implementing clinical care, and facilitating its delivery
  • Evaluate the process and outcome of clinical services and make suggestions for improvement
  • Perform various clinical tasks, including taking vitals, administering medication, and assisting with exams and procedures
  • Record patient information, including history, chief complaint, and pharmacy information, into the electronic medical record
  • Order supplies, stock exam rooms, and perform daily prep tasks
  • Order tests, obtain prior authorizations, and request referrals as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Graduate of accredited License Practical Nursing Program required
  • Current LPN license required
  • Previous experience preferred
