We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a member of our surgical orthopedic department, you will provide post-operative care to patients undergoing elective joint replacements, spine surgeries, and other complex procedures.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong critical thinking and analytical skills. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of new clinical practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert post-operative care to patients undergoing elective joint replacements, spine surgeries, and other complex procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical practices.

Qualifications

  • Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
  • Prior experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field preferred.
  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
