Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Richland Orthopedic Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist Emergency Department Physicians or Residents and Orthopaedic Physicians or Residents, performing duties such as splinting, casting, assisting with minor procedures, wound care, applying fabricated devices, immobilization devices, traction, and overhead frames.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description: As a Richland Orthopedic Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and maintaining all orthopedic equipment and supplies
  • Performing simple, non-sterile dressing changes on wounds
  • Applying any immobilization and mobilization devices to patients
  • Applying skeletal and manual traction
  • Ensuring that proper orders are completed using practice EMR

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Orthopedic or clinical/medical experience preferred
  • Completion of a Certified Orthopedic Technician certification from NBCOT or ASOP preferred
