Overview

Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation and Social Enterprise. Job Skills / Requirements

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all office, restrooms, and laboratories daily.
  • Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and Hi-Speeding as required.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is expected.
  • Coordinate and perform general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and light fixtures.
  • Restroom cleaning and disinfecting, replenishing paper supplies and soap, and sweeping and mopping nightly.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipment.
  • Inspect areas for quality assurance per Custodial Log Book.
  • Clean office furniture, walls, windows, water faucets, and floors of stains and finger prints.
  • Operate floor maintenance equipment, buffers, stripper, backpack vacuum, and mop ringer.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public.
  • Maintain inventory records of equipment and supplies as well as reorder requests.
  • Reliable transportation is preferred.
  • May train others and performs related work as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

The overall strength demands of this position require light to medium lifting. The essential functions of this position require the use of cleaning supplies such as a mop, cleaning chemicals, vacuum, and possibly a buffer. The essential functions of this position are performed indoors in 70-80 degrees. Potential exists for lifting up to 30 pounds.

Compensation:

Competitive salary - Federal contractor WDR - $17.20 per hour. Health and Welfare $4.57 per hour. Total compensation $21.77 per hour.

Work Location:

Oxford, TX

Shift Hours:

12pm - 4pm Monday - Friday (20 hours per week)

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. One to Two Years of Experience.
