Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the University of Mississippi. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our university buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas in university buildings and rooms, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Maintain sufficient stock and supplies to perform daily tasks.
  • Assist in transferring items between university buildings and facilities.
  • Perform related or similar duties as required or assigned.
Essential Functions
  • Clean, service, and stock supplies in assigned areas.
  • Transfer supplies needed for cleaning and stocking to various university buildings and facilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions. A valid driver's license may be required depending on the department.
