Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing reference, instruction, and circulation services to students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting information literacy, creating online content, and collaborating with faculty and staff to support academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide library instruction and reference services to students, faculty, and staff
  • Create online content and subject guides to support information literacy
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate library services into academic programs
  • Collect and analyze statistical data to inform library services
  • Represent the library on campus committees and at university events
Requirements
  • Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from an ALA-accredited university
  • 1-2 years of experience in a library or academic setting
  • Knowledge of current trends in library services and operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
