Caregiver - Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Caregiver - CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop strong bonds with our residents and their families, providing assistance with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and getting to know their unique preferences and personalities.
- Notify Management of Changes: Inform management of any changes in a resident's condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service as needed.
- Assist with Life Skills: Help residents with life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
- Participate in ISP Development: Contribute to the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
- Responsible for Resident Care: Be responsible for your designated group of residents during the shift, knowing where they are and physically checking on them throughout the shift.
- Partner with Community Team: Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies.
- Respond to Dining Needs: Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- Encourage Resident Engagement: Invite, encourage, and assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their ISP and demographic profile.
- Dedication to Serving Seniors: Demonstrate a passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive Attitude and Flexibility: Possess a positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and may be required per state regulations.
- Certifications and Experience: In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications, and previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
- Decision-Making and Communication Skills: Possess the ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as competent organizational and time management skills.
