Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans to address specific nutrition-related problems.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide nutrition-focused physical findings, biochemical data, and medical tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Implement nutrition interventions, including food and nutrient delivery, nutrition education, and counseling, to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes to determine progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited program.
- Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; use and understand medical terminology; and perform arithmetic calculations.
- Experience with plant-based diets and meal planning.
- Expertise in community education and teaching group classes.
- Understanding of the microbiome and its effect on overall health.
- Coaching skills around behavioral change and healthy eating.
