Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity

Healing Partners is seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a leading provider of wound care services, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care settings.
  • Examine and treat chronic and acute episodic wound-related illnesses and accidents, minor injuries, and accidents.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate follow-up.
  • Refer to and update physicians, write prescriptions, and perform bedside procedures associated with wound care.
  • Work with the medical director in the care and treatment of residents and staff.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Proof of COVID vaccination.
  • Current, unrestricted APRN license in the state of practice.
  • Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand and walk for 4+ hours.
  • Able to lift 100 pounds to assist fallen residents.
  • Able to lift 10 pounds for routine performance of essential functions.
  • Pushing/Pulling 70+ pounds when administering patient care.
  • Bending/squatting/kneeling/twisting when administering patient care.
Work Environment:

May be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards, and chemical hazards.

Will travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within your local area.

The position requires COVID vaccination.

Job Type: Part-time, 1-2 days a week.

Salary: $45,000.00 per year.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.

Work Location: On the road.
