Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Specialist to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of food products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on local and interstate routes to deliver food products to customers.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers to resolve any issues or concerns related to deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and schedules to meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • 12 months commercial driving experience required.
  • Valid CDL A license required.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years required.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Ability to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift.
