Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your role will involve operating, repairing, installing, and maintaining equipment across various water treatment facilities. You will report directly to the Superintendent of Production or the Maintenance Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of instrumentation and machinery.
  • Manage chemical feed systems.
  • Conduct maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Test and maintain protective equipment for systems.
  • Supervise emergency equipment and backup power generators.
  • Inspect facility equipment and execute installations or modifications as required.
  • Engage in training sessions and workshops.
  • Be prepared for on-call responsibilities and additional hours as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in equipment maintenance is necessary.
  • Certification in a relevant trade may be required.
  • Ability to secure necessary licenses within three years of employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Good visual, auditory, and verbal communication skills are essential.

All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
