Job Description:

The role of the Source Inspector at NTS Unitek involves performing in-process and final source inspections, including First Article inspections, in accordance with AS9102 Quality Standards. This position requires the ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final source inspections, including First Article inspections, in accordance with AS9102 Quality Standards.
  • Read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
  • Perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform in-process and final source inspections, including First Article inspections, in accordance with AS9102 Quality Standards.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time assignment with an estimated length of 8 hours per visit and 12 visits per year. The applicant must be a US Citizen, and we are unable to sponsor at this time. This is a W2 contract position to work on an as-needed basis.
