We are seeking a qualified School-Based Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Fort Worth Independent School District. In this role, you will work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide mental health services, including individual and group counseling, crisis response, and case management.

As a School-Based Mental Health Specialist, you will work with students who require mental health support due to various reasons, including but not limited to, being bullied, experiencing anxiety or depression, struggling with relationship issues, dealing with grief or loss, etc. You will also work with teachers, counselors, and other school personnel to identify and support students' mental health needs, and collaborate with parents and guardians to develop and implement strategies to support their child's mental health and well-being.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology. You should also possess a valid Texas professional license in one of the following fields: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Social Worker (LBSW, LMSW, LCSW).
