About the Role:
An established environmental and civil engineering consulting firm is in search of a full-time Civil Engineer to contribute to various civil engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to independently apply essential engineering principles and design standards to diverse projects. This role involves collaborating with Project Managers and design teams to create project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design of sanitary sewer collection systems.
  • Development of stormwater treatment and storage solutions.
  • Engineering of water system pumping facilities and distribution networks.
  • Designing roads, parking areas, subdivisions, and site developments.
  • Utilizing design software to adhere to engineering design standards.
  • Assisting in the preparation of construction plans and specifications.
  • Conducting construction administration tasks, including project bidding and oversight.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and compliance with company standards.
  • Effectively communicating design analysis and results through written reports.
  • Traveling to various job sites as required.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Ability to obtain an Engineer-in-Training (EI) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license within one year of employment if not already licensed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Montana PE license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in surveying and materials testing certifications.
