Firefighter/EMT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/EMT to join our team at Jackson County Florida. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services and fire protection to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
• Operate fire trucks and equipment to extinguish fires and rescue people
• Perform routine maintenance on fire trucks and equipment
• Participate in training exercises to maintain and improve skills
• Work collaboratively with other emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in fire protection and licensed as an EMT in Florida
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions
