Job Summary:
LCRA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ranger II to join our team. As a Ranger II, you will be responsible for providing emergency response services, responding to dispatched calls, and performing assignments to protect life and property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Enforce federal, state, and local laws, as well as LCRA rules and regulations
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and emergency responders
- Participate in training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- Must be eligible to immediately obtain and then maintain a Basic TCOLE Peace Officer license
- Two or more years of experience in public safety and/or law enforcement or other relevant experience
- Driver's license
- Successful completion of relevant fitness for duty examinations
- Must pass the CJIS fingerprint-based background investigation according to the State of Texas standards
- Must remain current with all CJIS training requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain National Incident Management System (NIMS) certifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certification
