Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints while ensuring adequate stock for each meal
- Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight for diet planning, menu development, and the preparation and service of both standard and therapeutic diets
- Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared promptly while adhering to established menus and dietary orders
- Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather dietary histories as needed
- Complete the dietary section of clinical records accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in regular meetings, including department head discussions and interdisciplinary care planning sessions
Qualifications
- Must hold registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Serve Safe certification required
- Preferred: One to two years of management or supervisory experience
