Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist II to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a staff-level position, this role will report directly to the Supervisor, Laboratory Director, and Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform, interpret, and report accurate and timely laboratory testing in the sections of the laboratory assigned.
  • Supervise technicians and other non-independent practitioners as needed.
  • Use critical thinking skills and make independent judgments based on knowledge of laboratory medicine and disease processes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of medical technology is required, with a B.S. preferred.
  • State of California Clinical Laboratory Technologist License is required.
  • ASCP or equivalent certification is desired.
  • Three years of experience as a registered technologist in an acute care hospital is desired.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy, basic medical terminology, typing, math, and computer skills are required.
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in various age groups.
Compensation and Benefits

Based on years of experience: $59.79-$69.23 per hour. Differential pay applies for per diem shifts, noc shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts.
