We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist II to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a staff-level position, this role will report directly to the Supervisor, Laboratory Director, and Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities- Perform, interpret, and report accurate and timely laboratory testing in the sections of the laboratory assigned.
- Supervise technicians and other non-independent practitioners as needed.
- Use critical thinking skills and make independent judgments based on knowledge of laboratory medicine and disease processes.
- Graduation from an approved school of medical technology is required, with a B.S. preferred.
- State of California Clinical Laboratory Technologist License is required.
- ASCP or equivalent certification is desired.
- Three years of experience as a registered technologist in an acute care hospital is desired.
- Phlebotomy, basic medical terminology, typing, math, and computer skills are required.
- Able to work independently and demonstrate current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in various age groups.
Based on years of experience: $59.79-$69.23 per hour. Differential pay applies for per diem shifts, noc shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts.
