Job Summary

NorthBay Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II to join our team in Vaca Valley. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing, interpreting, and reporting accurate and timely laboratory testing in the sections of the laboratory assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret laboratory testing in assigned sections
  • Report results accurately and in a timely manner
  • Supervise technicians and other non-independent practitioners as needed
  • Use critical thinking skills and make independent judgments based on knowledge of laboratory medicine and disease processes
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of medical technology
  • State of California Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
  • ASCP or equivalent certification
  • Three years of experience as a registered technologist in an acute care hospital
