Reliability and Mechanical Engineer

Ingenia Polymers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Houston and La Porte, Texas. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and report potential failures within processes
- Design new systems and apply general engineering knowledge to solve problems
- Perform tests and analysis, and liaise with relevant teams on outcomes
- Work closely with budgets and finances to reduce costs
- Conduct routine engineering calculations and optimize processes
Requirements:
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with Maintenance background required
- Strong background in equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, and production controls
- Ability to work in a multitasking, multi-role, and fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PLC controls, and programming software
- Strong customer/vendor interaction and interpersonal skills
