Sentara is seeking an experienced Medical Physicist to support our hospitals throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. This role will involve providing technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy, monitoring patients, and maintaining established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Monitor patients and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical physics research and technologies
- Master's Degree in Medical Physics (or related field)
- Board Certification in Medical Physics (or related field)
- Experience in radiation therapy and medical physics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
