Medical Physicist Opportunity at Sentara

Sentara, a leading healthcare provider in Virginia and North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Medical Physicist to join our team. As a Medical Physicist at Sentara, you will play a critical role in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Monitor patients and maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality measurement, and safety
  • Perform clinical research as required
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Medical Physics (Required)
  • ABR/ABMP/CCPM Board Certification or Eligibility (Required)
  • Experience in Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy, and Radiopharmaceutical procedures preferred
