We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician/Installer to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in ensuring the installation and maintenance of fire and life safety systems, providing our clients with the assurance of their safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems, security alarms, access control systems, and nurse call systems.
  • Conduct inspections and make recommendations for system improvements and services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a tidy work environment, including company vehicles.
  • Work independently while demonstrating high-quality workmanship.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
  • Follow both verbal and written instructions accurately and document all work performed.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and demonstrate familiarity with industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least five years.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the installation, service, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm products, access control, and CCTV systems.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and current industry standards is essential.
  • Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Compensation: $27 - $35/hour

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to use hands for handling and communication, as well as the capacity to reach, stoop, kneel, and climb. The technician may need to lift and move items up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity for close and distant vision is necessary.
