Global Sanctions Compliance Specialist

The Global Sanctions Compliance Specialist is a critical role within BOK Financial, responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with various financial regulations and laws. This position requires a deep understanding of sanctions and financial regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Bank's OFAC program, including screening and reporting of designated individuals, businesses, and transactions.
- Review customers, accounts, and transactions for potential matches to individuals, entities, or countries subject to US sanctions or other lists of importance.
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and FinCEN regulations.
- Conduct ongoing reconciliations and scrubs of customer data, as well as periodic system testing of multiple vendor OFAC filtering systems.
- Respond to FinCEN 314(a) requests and maintain thorough documentation of analysis performed.
- Participate in resolution of issues identified by Audit or regulators, including the execution of new or changing BSA requirements.
- Associate's degree and two to three years of related work experience at a financial institution, or equivalent work experience of 4-5 years.
- Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act regulations.
- Ability to understand and interpret OFAC directives, including complex sanctions and multiple directives issued for high-risk jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work in an operational/compliance-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts.
