Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our San Diego, CA office. This role is vital in maintaining our fleet and ensuring our equipment operates at peak efficiency.

Compensation:
The starting wage for this position ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting DOT and PM inspections and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on construction machinery, including backhoes, trenchers, and directional boring equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing basic electrical issues in trucks and trailers.
  • Executing repairs on chassis and air brake systems.
  • Overhauling and repairing brakes, ignition systems, electrical systems, transmissions, differentials, and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspecting, repairing, and assembling automotive electrical components such as generators and starters.
  • Utilizing welding and fabrication skills as needed.
  • Traveling as required for job duties.
  • Maintaining a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and providing your own tools.
