We are seeking a highly skilled Tunnel Engineer to join our team at Aldea Services Inc. in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in geotechnical, underground, tunnel, or trenchless construction projects, including both design and construction management roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee geotechnical investigations in soil and rock geology
  • Inspect heavy civil construction, preferably on tunnel and trenchless projects
  • Design and construct municipal water and wastewater conveyance facilities
  • Produce design calculations and numerical analysis for tunnel and trenchless design
  • Develop design parameters from geotechnical reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant area of study
  • Minimum of five years of experience in geotechnical, tunnel, trenchless, or underground projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Ohio
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field
  • Experience delivering tunnel and trenchless solutions for projects in soft ground and hard rock
