Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide expert care to patients in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, demonstrating expertise in clinical skills, bedside manner, and infection control.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, utilizing critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, physicians, and patients, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
  • At least 18 months of clinical experience in acute care nursing.
