We're more than just produce; we offer dairy products, catering services, and in-house produce processing at Christine's Cuts. We distribute fresh arrivals 6 days a week to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools, and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely loading of delivery trucks with accurate loading capacity and communicate discrepancies.
  • Briefly review pallet loads according to USDA stacking regulations (conventional vs. organic).
  • Reconcile all product orders prior to shipment and collect short-shipped products upon arrival.
  • Oversee hiring, developing, and managing the performance of shipping supervisors, order pickers, and general labor staff.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to create efficient processes for servicing customers.
  • Maintain organized employee training, coaching, discipline, and safety investigation records in coordination with the Vice President of Operations, Director of Human Resources, and General Counsel.
  • Evaluate and enforce an environment of food safety, warehouse safety, and OSHA compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent and recent experience in management roles within manufacturing or distribution operations.
  • Experience working in fast-paced distribution environments.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative thinking, creativity, listening skills, player-coach abilities, efficient skills with ERP systems, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common email systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
